Our Story

One Tree Hot Yoga was born out of a communities love and dedication to the practice of yoga.

​

We have proudly inhabited our studio space for 10 years with much growth, adapting, compassion, laughter and all the yoga.

​

One Tree Hot Yoga is owned by Heather Larsen and Ken Berg.

FAQ: 

 

Q: How do I register for class?

A: We recommend downloading the Mindbody app on your phone, as it is the easiest to navigate, then searching for One Tree Hot Yoga. You can also go to www.mindbodyonline.com. OR head to any page on our website and look for the ‘Book’ buttons to take you directly to our studio page on Mindbody. You will need to sign up for an account on Mindbody and pre-pay for your class. If these options do not suit you, you are welcome to arrive at the studio to register and pay for class in-person. Please see the schedule for class times.

 

Q: What do I wear to yoga?

A: We encourage our students to dress in a way that will allow freedom of movement and comfort! Feel free to express yourself, but definitely dress for your best possible yoga experience. Here are what some students may arrive for a hot class wearing; leggings and sports bra, leggings and tank top, compression shorts and bra/top, shorts and sweat band. Here are what some students may arrive for a cool class wearing; leggings and top, leggings and sweater, joggers/sweatpants and top. If you still have questions, please feel to reach out!

 

Q: What do I need to bring with me to take class?

A: Bring a yoga mat and water/water bottle with you to class. If you are taking a hot class you may want to bring a non-slip mat or mat-towel, as well as a towel to wipe your sweat. If you do not have a yoga mat you may rent or purchase one at the studio.

 

Q: Do you have amenities like showers or a water refill station?

A: Yes! We have a mens bathroom and womens bathroom. Each bathroom has one toilet stall, sink and two shower stalls as well as cubbies for storage. We have a filtered water cooler to dispense cool and hot water.

 

Q: How and when do I come to class?

A: Please note the time of class you register for. The class instructor will unlock the studio doors 15 minutes prior to the beginning of class and lock the doors again 5 minute before class. This means you have a 10 minute window to arrive for class. We lock the doors for your privacy and safety, but you are able to exit at any time. You may leave your possessions, like your shoes and car keys, in cubbies in the lobby or in the restrooms and enter the practice room quietly. Please do not bring valuables into the studio.

 

Q: What if I signed up for class but I can’t make it?

A: If you are no longer able to come to class that you have registered for log onto Mindbody or use the Mindbody app to cancel your class reservation. Cancellations more than 2 hours before the start of class will not incur any fees. Cancelations less than 2 hours before the start of class will incur a $5 or $10(aerial only) fee. You must cancel class reservations via Mindbody - we do not accept cancellations via email, voicemail, text message or other.
